The topic of this thesis is the comparison of individual educational methods at swimming schools. Its main focus is on the preschool children group. In the theoretical part I will be focusing on the characteristics of swimming and its significance for the human body. The focus on the preschool children group consist of covering the various methods of swimming techniques from a teaching standpoint, usage of swimming tools and their age peculiarities. The practical part of the thesis will cover the differences between educational methods at three different swimming schools with the use of swimming tools and the evaluation of the qualification level of swimming instructors. Swimming Aids in the Swimming Classes for Mentally Disabled

Title: Swimming Aids in the Swimming Classes for Mentally Disabled Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to identify the effectiveness of swimming aids in the education of mentally disabled. The objective was to collect information from the lectors of swimming classes for mentally disabled people in the Czech Republic. Finally, the data obtained from the questionnaire could suggest the use of floatation aid or other swimming aid during the process of learning how to swim and move in the water. Methods: A method of a questionnaire was used to collect the information: selected swimming lectors specializing in swimming of disabled were invited to fill it out. Answers were analyzed and interpreted in the results section of the thesis, and were supported with tables. Results: Author's research has shown that the inclusion of mentally disabled in swimming classes has progressed. However, in the Czech Republic it was impossible to focus solely on mentally disabled as the swimming classes usually involve people with other disabilities as well. The use of an assistant during the swimming classes was very common. Author confirmed the preference of certain swimming aids among the lectors, and on the other side, some aids were no longer used. Swimming training of children with specific learning disabilities in younger school age

The work was reflecting the effect of basic swimming training and the water environment on the fine motor skills of the upper limbs in a group of pupils with specific learning disabilities. Part of the work is a comparison with a group of pupils of the same age with specific learning disabilities without said swimming training. The main goal of the work is to observe a group of pupils from a Prague based private elementary school with focus on education of children with specific learning disabilities and evaluation of potential changes in fine motor skills of the upper limbs. The selected group of pupils consisted of children diagnosed with one or more specific learning disability, such as developmental dysphasia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, ADHD syndrome and Asperger's syndrome in ages 8 to 10. The training was a mandatory basic swimming training in third grade and happened during the school year 2018/2019 with total of 15 participants. Input testing for fine motor skills and test of level of swimming abilities were organised in the beginning of the training. Output testing was organised in February of 2019 after completion of 20 hours of swimming training. TITLE: Influence of swimming on increasing flexibility as a component of the desterity of primary school pupils in the Louny region. AUTHOR: Bc. Veronika Benková DEPARTMENT: Department of physical education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Irena Svobodová ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to find out how basic swimming training taking place in Louny region affects joint mobility in children of younger school age and at the same time, compare the results of the measured group with similar, already conducted research from 2015 and 2018. In order to get results, proven joint mobility tests are used. Testing will take place twice in total; before the beginning and at the end of the swimming training, e. g. after the end of the ten two-hour lessons period. This research will be conducted for about ten weeks. Testing will take place at two primary schools. The test persons were divided according to gender into boys and girls, as well as whether they are non-swimmers and swimmers. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of younger school age, motor skills - especially joint mobility, swimming training and swimming. Swimming crawl and his swimming lessons for younger school children

The aim of this work is to find the most common mistakes in children of younger school age in swimming technique crawl. Another aim of the work is to eliminate mistakes in the technique of the given swimming method based on the elaborated training plan, in the range of sixteen hours. An integral part of the work will be to map the distance traveled at the beginning of monitoring and then at the end of the application of training. The theoretical part deals with the issue and description of the swimming crawl. The practical part of the thesis consists of recording and subsequent evaluation of individual errors according to the description of children's swimming technique. I will use the methods of observation, scaling, testing to evaluate the results and I will use the statistical method of data processing. The results of the work mostly correspond with the description of the child's technique of the crawl.

8 ABSTRACT This bachelor thesis follows up the theme of children from six months up to six years who swim. It deals with childrens' development in different individual age groups, such as infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The main target this thesis has is to compare two Baby Clubs, Baby Club Juklík and Baby Club Vodníček. In both cases, the way of guidance in swimming, used methods in teaching and established goals in different age groups, will be compared. Influence of swimming on increasing flexibility as a component of the dexterity of basic pupils schools.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to observe the influence of articular mobility through swimming lessons in younger school age children. Verified articulated mobility tests are used for these findings. Testing will take place twice, at the beginning and at the end of the swimming training over the course of one half-year. Testing will be done in two groups of children. The first group consists of students who participate in compulsory swimming lessons. The second group consists of children regularly taking part in swimming training in the swimming section in Brandýs nad Labem. In addition, people divided into swimmers and non-swimmers, and into boys and girls, were tested. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of motor abilities with focus on flexibility, characteristics of younger school age children and swimming training and swimming. The practical part consists of a description of the experiment and analysis of the results of the individual flexibility tests. The results of the work have shown that swimming is an appropriate means of developing flexibility. Improvements in all the groups studied were confirmed. Swimming training of pupils at the lower school of primary schools

My dissertation involves teaching students in elementary schools. The task of my theoretical portion is retaining basic swimming lessons for children in swimming schools. The practical portion is focused on the findings of the children's abilities based upon the output and input test of basic swimming skills. Another part of the practical portion involves creating a twenty hour educational program and design the classroom's cirrculum. Between the main methods of my research, it involves observing children, and scoring their abilities to accomplish basic swimming skills with comparing obtained data.
